  • 500 g young beets

  • 200 g smoked tofu

  • 4 tbs tahini paste

  • 2 tbs tamari soy sauce

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 2 sprigs of rosemary

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Wash the beets well, leave the skin on and cut them into bigger pieces.

Place them on an pre-oiled tray, add rosemary, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Mix 100 ml of water, tahini, tamari, and turmeric in a blender.

Add large pieces of smoked tofu to the beets, pour over the sauce, and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the sauce forms a thin crust.
