NETTLE TEA

You can easily pick nettle by yourself, as it grows almost everywhere. It is best to pick young nettle that grows in the spring. Get the nettle on the outskirts of forests, along river banks, in a garden, far away from the roads.


Nettle can be used fresh or dried. You can use it for sauces, salads, soups, smoothies, tea, etc.

For 100 ml of tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbs dried ground leaves (or 3-4 fresh tips of nettle)

  • 100 ml water



Add the dry or fresh nettle into a teapot and pour boiling water over it. Stir and let it sit for 10 minutes, then drain.


Nettle tea has many positive effects on our body. It strengthens the immune system, prevents inflammation, drains water from our body, and it has many restorative effects on our blood.


In order to have nettle at hand throughout the year, it is best to pick a large amount of nettle and dry it.

*you can drink nettle tea up to 3 times a day, for three weeks at most, and then take a break.
