Time of preparation: 20 min
Difficulty: easy
Serves 2
For the shake:
600Â ml water
2 scoops vanilla or chocolate plant proteinsÂ
1 tbsp golden flax seeds
1 big banana
1-2 tsp glucomannan (konjac root)
Garnish with:
Seasonal fruits
Mixed nuts
Soy yoghurt
Mixed seeds
Fresh leaves of sweet-smelling herbs, for example mint and lemon balm
Put all ingredients except glucomannan in a blender and blend well at the highest speed. Reduce speed and add glucomannan and continue blending so long that the shake thickens. The shake's thickness should resemble that of a freshly prepared pudding. Finally pour the shake into two bowls.Â
Garnish with the rest of the fruit and assorted nuts and seeds.
Fruit combinations and tips
. pineapple, mango, passion fruit, raspberries
. blueberries, raspberries, fresh mulberries and blackberries. This combination goes very well with chocolate shake to which we have added grated orange peel and 1/3 teaspoon of cardamom.Â
. mango, shredded coconut, dragon fruit
. blackberries, raspberries, figs
. pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, pomegranate
If you want the shake to be orange, you can add some goji berries to the vanilla shake. Or add mango, frozen raspberries or blueberries. In the latter case, the shake will be bluish-purple in color.
Use your imagination and tailor the recipe to your taste. Enjoy creativity and Bon Appétit.
