Preparation time: 10 min
Difficulty: easy
For 2 glasses
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh or frozen mango
1 cup plant-based yogurt (coconut or soy)
½ cup plant-based milk
1 tbs agave syrup (optional)
pinch of cardamom
2 tsp lime juice
*a bit coconut, cashew nuts, almonds or other nuts and seeds for topping
Put all of the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth (it shouldn't take more than 1 minute).
Pour mango lassi into two glasses and top with anything you wish. I used chopped cashews and a bit of cardamom.
You could also add almonds, brazil nuts, lime zest, shredded coconut, or coconut chips.
You can switch lime juice for lemon, but keep in mind that lime has a different taste to lemon.
Use your imagination and tailor the recipe to your taste. Enjoy creativity and Bon Apetit.
A major in culture studies, I decided to choose a different path in life, the one full of challenges where I can live my life fully as a creative person. Ever since high school, I have felt great love for food, and for the past year and a half, I have also been photographing food. I've been following a plant-based diet for two years and I try to live a vegan life. More than a career in cultural studies, I am drawn to nutritionism, Chinese and Ayurveda medicine, and the connection between food and wellbeing. I work as a food blogger, a food photographer, I am creating recipes and content for different food companies.
I swear by living a healthy life in every way - practicing yoga, meditation, reflection, and walks in nature are essential parts of my daily life.
I am interested in personal growth, sustainable and zero-waste life, ''back to nature'' and ''back to yourself'' approach to body, spirit, health, and life. I love to read and I find 'useful' books the best, but I also like to read a good novel. I adore coffee, homemade sweets, and my morning routine.
