Time of preparation: 20-40 min

Difficulty: easy

Serves 3

  • 500 g spinach

  • 400 g chickpeas

  • 1 leek or bigger bunch chives

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • bunch lovage

  • salt and pepper

Cook chickpeas beforehand or use the one in a jar. Blanch the spinach, cut it into bigger pieces and gradually blend it in a food processor together with chickpeas. Be careful not to blend it into a mash; the structure should be visible. Put the mixture in a bigger bowl, add finely chopped leek, garam masala, chopped lovage and season with salt and pepper.

Form balls of preferred size, press them down against the tray to slightly flatten them out. If the dough does not stick together, add a tablespoon or two of ground golden flax seeds. Bake for 20 minutes on each side at 200 °C until golden-brown.

Use your imagination and tailor the recipe to your taste. Enjoy creativity and Bon Appétit.
