Ingredients:
8 sheets of pastry dough
Ingredients for the filling:
9 semi sweet apples
400 g frozen blueberries
orange zest from one orange
2 tsp ground cardamom seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground vanilla
3 tbs coconut blossom syrup
1 tbs coconut oil (optional)
Peel and grate the apples. Add to a bowl and mix with the rest of the ingredients. Add sugar and season to taste. Divide the filling between 8 sheets of pastry dough. Spread it evenly on the bottom third of the sheet. Fold and gently place on a baking tray. Just before you place it in the oven, coat the strudel with coconut oil. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake until the strudel is golden brown.
